The ZIP is for transport. Modest Menu expects a writable directory with the files sitting on disk.

File Explorer, 7-Zip, or WinRAR. Opening the EXE from the preview pane is not a working install.
Path
Short path, ASCII folder name, under your profile. Locked OneDrive folders cause silent failures.
Password
Locked archives from this site use `kiddions`.
