Grants apply to the current protagonist. Mission-restricted weapons can disappear when a script takes over.

Pick a weapon, confirm, check the wheel. If it is missing, the mission forbids it.

Fill, not infinite by default on modest builds.

Same tree. Do not dump a minigun into a stealth beat unless you mean it.

Did it wipe my loadout?

A checkpoint restored the mission kit. Re-grant after.
