Story Mode is a local session. That is the environment this overlay was written against. Public Online is a different set of rules.

Why Story Mode

You own the save, wanted level, and weather. The overlay is a local tool for that space.

Rockstar terms and anti-cheat apply. This site will not document an Online attach path.

Keep a clean Story save. Experiment in a copy if you care about 100% files.

Does it edit save files?

It is an overlay for a running session, not a save editor.
